21st Young Computer Scientist Competition 2022

The Young Computer Scientist Competition, which is organized by the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka along with the Ministry of Education and the University of Colombo School of Computing was held for the 21st time this year. The competition took place under 3 rounds, where the 1st round was a qualifier round held online and the 2nd round was held physically at the University of Colombo School of Computing, in which the candidates had to present their projects in front of two panels of judges. The 3rd round was held in the form of a judge panel discussion, where the projects selected from the 2nd round were compared against each other from which the winners emerged finally. The top 6 winners of the whole competition will be given the honor to represent Sri Lanka at the APICTA 2022 Competition, this December.
